A wedding to photography not too far from Gloucester this time! The neighbouring county of Herefordshire was the location for the wedding of Fiona & Pete.
My first visit to the wonderful How Caple Court, Herefordshire and I was blown away. A country manor house with a Church practically in the grounds! This was a shorter wedding day for me, I photographed from the bride arriving at the Church through to the speeches following the wedding breakfast.
Following the ceremony, the awesome confetti throwing and group photographs it was about a 30 yard walk into the grounds of the wedding venue where the tiered gardens held the start of the party. The guests were served stunning canapés and drinks, the relaxed atmosphere really showing through and the gardens provided the most amazing backdrop.
Moving towards the marquee in the upper party of the venue, the walk was superb and a fantastic opportunity to get some relaxed images of the bride and groom as they enjoyed their first few hours of marriage, once there we took some bride and groom portraits and made the most of the fantastic light up initials that they had hired.
From there I documented the brilliant speeches, with the grooms brothers providing some interesting stories – especially about his running capabilities! 😉
The cakes were being cut for dessert, they’d held a bake off competition and there was a winner (if Fiona and Pete let me know the winners name I’ll give them a special mention!!) but from the photographs you can see just how amazing the wedding cakes were!
A great day with great weather!! – Mr & Mrs McHugh thank you for having me document your special day, it was a real pleasure.
Thanks for looking, and enjoy the images
