The Shire Hall, Monmouth & Inn on the Wye – Kirsty & Kurt – Dan Fisher Wedding Photography

On 29th August 2014 I photographed the wonderful wedding of Kirsty & Kurt at The Shire Hall, Monmouth.

The day started with bridal preparations at the brides families home in Longhope, Gloucestershire with an absolutely stunning garden to take some beautiful portraits of the bride and her family. A surprise Rolls Royce arrived to whisk the Bride and her father to the stunning Shire Hall, Monmouth where the wedding was held in the fantastic ceremony room with huge windows allowing lots of natural light (a photographers dream!!).

The wonderful staircase at The Shire Hall, Monmouth made for a superb backdrop for wedding group shots, with the main shot taken overlooking the concrete steps.

Following the ceremony we stopped off in the countryside to take some shots of the bride and groom with the wonderful car before heading onto The Inn On The Wye, Goodrich near Ross-On-Wye.

With the occasional shower the weather was against us, we improvised and made some fantastic bride and groom portraits using umbrellas and flashes! The first dance was shot with off camera flash to create some stunning images and a fantastic silhouette of the couple!

Despite now being based in Gloucestershire it was a real pleasure to return to my home town, Monmouth, to photograph this very special day, I wish Kirsty and Kurt all the best for their future and lives together.
