Early on a sunny Saturday in August I left Gloucestershire to photograph a Wedding at Axnoller Farm, Dorset. Really pleased to shoot the wedding of a University friend and honoured that he’d asked me to take images of his and his new wife’s wedding.
We’d had numerous contact over the telephone and over emails to discuss the day and the details, I was excited to be shooting my first outdoor wedding ceremony!! The nerves were going when I kept checking the weather forecast, but on the way the radio said that it was going to be the hottest day of the year (I’m not sure it was but warm wasn’t the word!)
When I arrived at Axnoller I was blown away, what a wedding venue and what a location to photograph!! – Stunning buildings that seemed to have been recently rejuvenated, stunning decor and with views to die for – a wedding photographers paradise!
The sun was blazing as we’d had some wet weather leading up to the Wedding the ceremony was moved to another area of the venue, I’m sure you’ll agree from the images it really was stunning.
This really was a superb day, enjoyed catching up with old University friends, shooting at a great venue and doing something I love.
I’m going to have to let the wedding photographs do the talking for this venue, I really can’t wait to go back.
Thanks for reading, please feel free to comment or share! – See if you can spot me in the photo booth images!
